10 Bible verses that encourage us not to return evil with evil, but to overcome evil with good

“Do not let yourself be controlled by evil; rather, conquer evil with good.”

It is not difficult to get revenge on someone who has wronged us in some way. People hold on to it in anticipation of the ideal moment to hand it over. This occurs quite frequently in this world. On the other hand, the Bible instructs us to “not overcome by evil, but rather overcome evil with good.” How is it that this is even possible? By letting them off the hook for their mistakes! Several Bible verses encourage us not to return evil with evil.
