It was entirely my fault. Everything. I had been falsely blaming Leo all these years, when the truth was far far worse. He couldn’t mark me, and I had given him the ultimatum to either do that or reject me. He never actually had a choice in the matter at all. And I could hardly blame Leo for his anger.
