Her Forever (Book 2)- Chapter 50

Sampson hovered over Rosalie’s body the entire day. Her hair was spread across the pillow and she was lightly breathing with one hand resting on her chest and another around Sampson’s arm. He stared at her, memorizing very freckle and eyelash. The way her breathing would sometimes hitch when a cold breeze would go by her face. Her slender neck and all the dips and grooves that go a long with it, he love it. Every part about her body as well as her mind he cherished.

Many, including Jack, thought he was just a docile Wolf. That he was lazy and only showed himself when he really needed to. Jack was in control most of the time so naturally Jack thought him and his Wolf were perfectly in-sync. Part of it was true, they did care for one another but there was another problem Jack was completely unaware of.

Sampson was depressed, even though it wasn’t common to find a depressed Wolf but there were some instances. Sampson had been with Jack for many years and as soon as Jack and Sampson were old enough to find a mate he heart soared. Sampson wanted his mate badly. The first few years getting to know Jack kept him calm. but as time went on and other friends and family gained their mates, he slowly went back into the background. Sampson wasn’t a puppy like his mate likes to say, he is an actual beast. When his pack was in danger he emerged to help Jack to defend it. Pack members were afraid of Sampson because when he did emerge he was the full definition of a demon Wolf. He was unpredictable and scary and took orders from no one, even Jack.
