I ground my heel into the ground, Thaddeus gave a look of no questioning of his authority, but hell, I was going to do what I could to get Theon back. “Let’s go,” I huffed, walking past Thaddeus. I felt his body turn while he growled out at me. “Trinity, no,” the wolves in the room stood still. Thaddeus’ voice was quiet but radiated a power I had not felt before. It was authoritative and was meant to stop me in my tracks. It certainly stopped everyone else, but not me.
