I had been on these lands, which were supposed to be my kingdom, for less than an hour, and I was already on my way to meet my mate’s family. It was surely the biggest step I would have to take ever since we met. I already knew her mother from my old pack’s business meetings, so I didn’t feel as intimidated in her presence.
