To say I was surprised by my mate’s request was an understatement.

From what I heard about Jasper’s past, he used to be very confident, or at least he pretended to be. I, however, had only seen two sides of him – the paranoid boy who was constantly running from his problems, and the shy man who was learning to come to terms with his identity. It was my first time meeting the brave prince who took initiative, and honestly…I think I liked it.
