My Mate Is A Virgin – Chapter 27

Jasper POV

Through my wolf’s gleaming white eyes, cold like those of a killer beast, I watched the enemy take slow steps. There could only be one winner, but we each sought different prizes; he desired my title, and I wanted respect.

Phoenix bared his fangs, his menacing sounds becoming louder. He wished for nothing more than to end this quickly, his animalistic instincts urging him to taste blood. After we tracked down the rogue who had been roaming the outskirts of our territory for the past couple of days, they led him to me and stayed put in case I needed help. My mate, who had stayed in animal form to be able to intervene if necessary, took a step in my direction. The pride in her eyes made me overflow with joy. I took a deep breath to remain focused. As Dree promised, I had been having daily sparring sessions with Adriana, and my teacher finally deemed me ready to take down my first rogue without help. Despite how terrible I was at the beginning, I was trying my best to improve as quickly as possible.

Most times when Andromeda was busy, I would hang out with Alula, Adriana, Calynn or Marina, but I felt like enjoying my privacy today. As my eyes accidentally fell on my phone on the bedside table, I realized there was a special someone I hadn’t talked to in a while. I guess it was the perfect opportunity to check out on her.
