My Mate Is A Virgin – Chapter 3

Jasper POV

For the next long seconds, the Luna just stared blankly at me, almost as if she was deciding whether I was being serious or simply telling one of my many jokes. However, Caitlyn was smart, and she could easily read anyone, especially her friends. It took her no time to realize my intentions were true, and when she did, it only made me feel worse. I guiltily watched as her expression turned from confusion to disbelief – with a hint of disappointment, judging by her slightly creased brows.

I have been there, Jasper. I was rejected, remember?” I widened my eyes, cursing myself. How could I have forgotten she was our Alpha’s second chance mate? I guess they were so perfect together that it was hard to imagine she once belonged to someone else. “And I can assure you it is never the right move.” He

Sitting on the edge of my bed, I closed my eyes and pinched the bridge of my nose in an attempt to organize my thought before glancing at the Luna again. “What if the same thing happens here? What if I reject her and she ends up with someone…better?” The words coming out of my mouth made my heart ache, but I had to say them. I needed to convince her that what I was doing was right.

r are you just trying to take the easy way out and reject your mate so that you will never have to bite the bullet?”
