Although I had only been without my mate for a short while – I could even still smell her on me – the thought of being reunited with her released endorphins into my bloodstream. The hormones made it hard for me to continue my poised, slow walk down the hallway, when all I wanted was to do was rush back into her arms.

Considering how skilled these females were, that was definitely a possibility.
