Promised To The Alpha Twins – Chapter 34

We arrived at school, and the first two classes of the day went according to plan. None of the other students seemed to notice that I had been gone. My third class was a whole different story. I had almost forgotten that I sat with the twins in that class. The moment I walked through the door, both of their eyes were on me. Their gazes burned my skin, and the guilt bubbling inside me almost made me nauseous. I walked slowly, my eyes under surveillance as I looked into theirs.

It seemed like both of them had seen better days. Their eyes looked darker, almost black. Deep rings surrounded their eyes, making it seem like they needed a good night’s sleep. Ethan looked as handsome as ever, his hair messy on top and short on the sides. His long-sleeved shirt clung to every curve and contour of his body. Liam looked dazzling with his longer, tousled hair. His typical leather jacket was in place. They were sitting next to each other, as usual, giving me the chance to get through the class without them touching me. I needed to resist the pull I felt towards them, but now it felt stronger than ever. Something had definitely changed. The need to be close to them wasn’t just a purely mental torture; now it was physical. My body ached, trembling with the longing I felt. I wasn’t sure how I would get through that class, but I was determined to try.

“Well, hello, beautiful,” Liam’s dark eyebrow raised, his obsidian eyes roaming over the dress I had chosen. My cheeks flushed under his gaze, but I chose to ignore his comment.
