The Alpha & Beta’s Regret – Chapter 26

Luci POV

Luci woke up to find those deep dark blue eyes of Alpha Rafe looking right down at her, not Victor as she’d expected, her heart was hammering inside of her chest. She did not know if it was because she was in his lap and he was holding her, or if it was because she was suddenly super wired and wide awake. She felt really weird inside of her own body, everything about her felt jacked up and as if she was moving super fast.

Her attention was drawn by her son Rafe’s voice “Mamma, Jack.” It was so filled with concern and pain, her head snapped around and she saw Rafe standing at the end of a gurney-type bed. A hand on his twin brother. He was filled with worry, she could see it and Alari could feel it. Her eyes moved to little Jack and they could tell he was unconscious from the slackness of his body, he was all limp and his little mouth was open. Alari shot forward in an instant.

wearing some sort of hearing protection to protect himself from Alari’s Siren call. Which meant he now not only knew who Luci was, and where she was, but what she was as well. Not a good thing, likely now also knew about the twins.
