Leo’s POV

Luca throws himself into the fight, aiming for the wolves that are dirty with matted hair. This is the first time that we have fought against rogues instead of with them and it is awkward. I know this number of rogues wouldn’t have amassed together if they weren’t promised something important.

Guilt swarms in my head as Luca’s teeth sink into the neck of the first rogue that we come across. He snaps his teeth down hard and I feel the rogue’s neckbones crumble under his jaws. Shaking his head back and forth, Luca flings the rogue to the side. He licks his chops and I can feel power surging through his veins. The tangy taste of blood is fueling his rage.
