Isabella grabbed her phone from where she had thrown it onto the sofa earlier and then groaned. She muttered an expletive forcing Cam to lift his eyebrows and she looked at him.

“Evgeni or Portia?”

“Both but worse, there are six missed calls from my mother.” She sighed as if it bothered her more than the calls from the others. “I need to call her back.” She grimaced as he sat down near her on the sofa, and she held her fingers to her lips.
