We ran around the pack territory, inspecting all of the borders. Mason led the way, pointing out specific areas that I assumed the vampires tended to gather, but I wasn’t a part of their linking, so I didn’t know for sure. Even as we inspected the borders, I saw several red eyes disappear into the forest. They were always watching, and it made my skin crawl.
