When Draven finished taking my blood, I felt queasy. Between the blood I lost from my wound and the amount he had taken, my head was spinning, making it even harder to focus than it was before. I had to close my eyes and take a few breaths to even stay conscious.

“Now that that’s done, it’s time to take care of some other business,” Draven announced. He snapped his fingers and said, “Bring her in.”
