My body froze as I saw Draven attack Cain. I knew I should’ve gone with him. I could’ve protected him and stopped him from getting hurt, but I had trusted him. He insisted he needed to go alone. If I was there, Winslow would have been more hesitant to take the deal and shake his hand. Cain had insisted he needed to be the one to poison Winslow. No one else would have been able to get the sorcerer to let down his guard.
