\tI waited outside for Remy to emerge. I had no idea when she was leaving, but I knew it was late in the day. I was confident I knew how she was leaving the house unnoticed. I had taught her my trick for sneaking out not that long ago, and it had been proven effective for me for years. I tucked myself away in the bushes and waited.
