\tBlack tendrils shot out of the ground, right beneath our car. The ground cracked around the dark magic as it pierced through the vehicle. The car flew into the air and crashed just a few feet in front of me. The force of the car crashing to the ground sent me and several others flying to the asphalt. I landed on my back, and for a moment I couldn’t breathe.
