\tI wandered out to the back yard, and it was already filled with people. As I scanned the crowd, I didn’t see a single person I didn’t know. It was my job to know everyone in the pack, especially since I would take over it one day. It was easy for me, especially because, at school, I was one of the most popular kids. I didn’t see anyone in particular I was itching to talk to, though.
\tRemy and Harper were probably still getting ready. Remy was known to be fashionably late, and Harper would be right by her side, supporting her. It was only one of my favorite things about her. Harper was genuine, and she didn’t care if she was having a quiet night at home or partying with a group of people. As long as she was with good friends, she could blend in everywhere. She would make a good luna one day.
