The Darling Of The Alpha – Chapter 11

Xander Cohen

“Alpha, we need to talk,” Parker says over the link, causing me to stop looking at my little moon to see him standing at the door that leads to the dining room.

“Wait for me in the studio,” I reply to close the link and watch him leave.

—Nana, can you meet Camila for a moment? —I ask to which she nods, there is no one left in the dining room, my parents went to their office with the guests and Mimy retired to university, so there is only Rosa and Parker in the mansion, the latter spending more time here that at his house because he is my beta and my sister’s mate.

“Don’t worry, my child, you can go and last as long as necessary, I will take good care of the little girl,” he announces, holding out his hand to Camila.

“I have no doubt about that,” I murmur to leave a kiss on my little girl’s forehead and head to study since the office is occupied by my father.

I enter the study and find Parker with a glass of what I assume is Whiskey sitting in the chair staring at the papers, he took a seat and raised one of my eyebrows waiting for a response.

“If you want, you can help yourself to something,” I say sarcastically, he snorts and gets up from his seat to take another glass and pour me something. “I don’t want to,” I add to which he looks at me and denies.

“Believe me, you’ll need it,” he comments, and he serves me and then takes a seat and passes me the glass.

-And good? What have you found? —I ask going straight to the point because I want to be with my moon and take her shopping for clothes and everything she needs.

“Well, there’s everything you need to know,” she announces, pointing to the file. She took it and the first thing my eyes see is the crossed out name.

“There’s nothing out of the ordinary,” I tell him, raising one of my eyebrows. “Only my moon has a birthday five days before me,” I add to which he hands me another folder that he had not seen until now.

I open it and read the following:
