The Darling Of The Alpha – Chapter 19

I wake up feeling the heat and managing to catch the smell of my moon, a silly smile immediately forms on my face when I see my little girl’s face on my chest, her blushing cheeks, her disheveled hair and her mouth half open.

“Our moon is beautiful,” Bruno sighs like a teenager in love. I don’t respond and caress my little girl’s cheek of her. She stirs until she opens her beautiful brown eyes, which sometimes change to a honey color that leaves me completely enthralled.

“Good morning princess,” I greet her, brushing some strands from her face. Camila smiles and sits on the bed like an Indian, she looks around the room until she finds her bear on the small sofa in my room.

“Is Teddy there?” She asks confused, pointing to the bear. I woke up in the early morning, Camila was hugging the bear and I separated her from it to place it away from her to prevent her from changing me because of that. “I think I should n’t have bought her from her.” a stuffed animal» I think.

“No idea,” I responded, stretching my arms to bring my moon closer to me, I place my face on her neck and Bruno purrs. “Mine,” I whisper, she laughs.

“It’s itchy,” she complains between laughs, causing my heart to skip a beat. I rub my beard on her neck and she laughs out loud. “Yeah…hahaha…” she laughs louder and I stop to turn around and leave her. under me.

I look at her eyes with tears from laughing so much, her cheeks and nose are red, she is the most tender image I will see this day.

Camila looks at me with her beautiful brown eyes and I can’t help but leave a kiss on her forehead, nose, cheek, sighing in ecstasy at her happiness that floods to the depths of my soul.

“Why were you angry with me, princess?” I ask, looking into her eyes and raising one of my eyebrows.

“Mimy told me that they are mine,” she whispers and my eyes widen in surprise upon hearing what she said. I notice that her little eyes water, causing my heart to contract. “And you were with another girl,” she adds, turning her face to look at the wall, but how did she realize that?

—Our connection is stronger even if we haven’t marked it, Bruno murmurs.

“I’m sorry, little one,” is the only thing I can think of to say while holding her face with one hand, I support myself with the other so as not to let my weight fall on her. “It won’t happen again, I promise, I am and will be only yours.” OKAY? —I add looking into her eyes, Camila nods and hugs me by the neck.

She left my face in her neck and sighed, feeling like the happiest man in the world.

After having left my moon at the pack’s school, I’m going straight home because from now on Erick and Felicia will be in charge of the company to capture the thieves. When I’m entering the mansion I feel a stinging sensation on my back. “Damn,” I think,

—Xander… They are! —My mother shouts, quickly descending the stairs.

I groan at the pain that is now moving to my neck.

“It hurts,” I gasp at my mother as I look at her desperately. “What is happening to me, Bruno?” I ask him about the link.

“I don’t know, but I think our moon is going through the same thing,” he screeches, worried for Camila while we both write in pain, as I feel like my soul is burning.

“Mother… my moon,” is what I manage to articulate because the pain doesn’t even let me breathe properly. She nods and I know that she is communicating through the link with someone.

“I already talked to Carlos so they can bring her immediately,” he murmurs, caressing my hair, I feel the pain pass little by little and then the darkness takes over me until I lose consciousness.

(…)

—What are those brands? —I hear someone ask as he runs his fingers along the joint of my neck and shoulders. Slowly I force myself to open my eyes until I find Mimy’s face close to mine.

—Where is my moon? —I ask trying to get up but Mimy places her hand on my shoulder.

“She’s next to you,” she whispers, looking at me strangely. I look to my left where my sleeping moon is. I breathe deeply but I don’t smell her, which makes me alarmed.

—Why don’t I smell its smell?! —I scream upset, looking at my parents for an explanation as I get closer to my moon but I don’t feel anything, it’s as if I had never been able to smell it.

“This is serious,” I hear my mother say. I look at her to ask her to explain what is happening. “Call Sasha the witch,” she asks, looking at Mimy who nods and leaves the room.

—Mother, what’s wrong? “I’m getting worried,” I whisper scared, I don’t understand why I can’t smell my moon.

“I’m not sure,” she comments. —All this is very strange… only hunters do that to avoid being detected by supernatural beings,” she explains, looking at my moon.

I sigh because with all this that has happened I have forgotten to tell my parents that the hunter’s blood runs through my moon’s blood.

“My moon has the blood of a hunter,” he blurted out, watching her eyes open in surprise. “I forgot to tell you, I sent my beta to investigate everything about the woman who was next to my moon when I found her… the researcher discovered that Camila is the daughter of the largest distributor of love for hunters,” I inform them.

“But that doesn’t explain why the new marks on your body,” my father comments and I look at him confused. —On your back the phase of the moon formed and from your neck to your shoulder you carry a black dragon with wild flowers surrounding it. —He concludes, explaining in detail, I touch my neck and look at my moon which does not have any marks. “She’s fine, there’s nothing out of the ordinary… it’s just that no one smells her and let’s hope that in a few days she will come back again,” he adds and I can’t help but sigh in relief.

“It’s annoying not being able to smell her,” Bruno mutters to let out a growl.

“Yes,” he answers, closing the link.

I manage to smell a smell of herbs and spices that confirms that the witch Sasha has arrived, I hear the door open and a young woman enters with hair as white as her skin, her eyes are dark blue like the night sky.

“Alphas, moon…” she greets, bowing before us.

“Thank you for coming, Sasha,” my mother murmurs, giving her a short hug.

Sasha has been a close friend of my mother for over 50 years.

“It is an honor for me to be able to help you,” she announces, looking at my parents, then she directs her gaze towards me and my moon, which she looks at for a long time. I growl at her and pull my little girl closer to her body. “Sorry alpha,” she whispers, ducking her head, I nod and place my face on my moon’s neck.

I let out an annoyed snort at not being able to smell his scent.

“Sasha, we ask you to come urgently because something strange happened,” my mother is the one who breaks the uncomfortable silence that formed in the room. —My son got strange marks and we need you to check him out.

—May I see the alpha markings? —He questions and I turn away from my moon to get out of bed.

“Yes,” I reply, and she walks over to start looking at my marks.

—Can I touch them?

I nod to feel how she places her cold hands on my marks.

“It’s strange… they look like ownership marks,” she whispers, looking at the one that goes down from my neck to my shoulders.

-Property?—I question confused.

“That’s what I call the marks that wolves make on their mates,” he explains briefly. —Has your moon said something strange to you?

-Something like that? —I ask, feeling her hand go over the dragon.

“Don’t touch it, it’s mine,” she says in the childish voice of my moon. I turn and look at her with her eyes shining a dark honey while she looks at Sasha with her frown.

-Something like that.
