It’s been a couple of hours since I’ve seen or heard from Landon or Tia. I’m guessing that her plan was a success. Landon cut our link, suppressing his emotions so I couldn’t feel anything through our bond. I decide to check on them.

I make my way to Landon’s room and quietly open the door. I see a few candles lit around the room, but they have been burning for a while.
