Amelia’s POV

Dinner is a tense affair. I can barely eat a bite after Alpha Jerome says we need to have a private meeting this evening. After everything I’ve learned today, I’m not feeling safe with the giant werewolf, who stares at me with a sinister grin. I suppose I could be imagining the sinister part. And Moon goddess promised she’d be with me and that I was protected, but it’s what I might need protection from that truly worries me.

Well, this isn’t my first rodeo. I’ll do everything just as I’ve done before. I’ll remind Alpha Jerome of the rules, remind him of my purpose here, ask him to set up meetings with all the unmated pack members, and to schedule time within the week for us to date and get to know each other and win my heart.
