Dead Luna – Chapter 36

Leo’s POV

So far, since the start of the private meeting that I crashed, I’ve kept my temper in check. But this Alpha is starting to sound more than just a little bit unhinged, and I want nothing more than to destroy him. But I bide my time, waiting to see just how far this goes. I’m proud to see Amelia taking charge, and refusing to take the alphas insults and bullshit.

Then everything takes an abrupt turn, and we are suddenly leaving the office, Amelia gripped firmly by the arm and being dragged off for goddess knows what sinister purpose. I follow close behind, not letting Jerome out of arms reach for a second as he heads for the elevator, and then again as we head down the hall and straight into the Luna Suite, with me barely making it inside. Jerome gives me a look of pure hatred, but I don’t give a s**t. I will protect Amelia, whether he likes it or not! But then the bastard turns to Amelia and says words that will probably haunt me for the rest of my life.
