I drove while Keith sat in the back with Noel, still handcuffed with the magic bindings. Noel kept her mouth shut after telling us she was sorry. We had no idea what she meant with the flash of regret in her eyes.

Noel doesn’t regret anything. She’s tough, an Alpha’s daughter. Even though she doesn’t have the most muscular Wolf, she does excellent with anything mentally tactful, so showing any emotion was troublesome.
